Food trucks rolled back into downtown Detroit on Monday, April 6 as the 14th season kicked off. Vendors will park at Cadillac Square every weekday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through mid-October.

Around 2,500 people show up each day, according to the Downtown Detroit Partnership, which created and runs this program. About 80 rotating food trucks and carts will participate throughout the season, making it Michigan's largest weekly food truck event.

One new addition this year is the 32-foot Detroit Panzerotti Co. food truck. Paul Buscemi of Buscemi's Party Stores launched the truck with his family in 2016, offering Italian street fare such as Detroit-style pizzas, calzones, steak sandwiches, Italian subs, and cannoli.

Today's lineup features Busta Dawgs, Conchys Empanadas, Little Bite Big Taste, Sonny's Hamburgers, and Wing Snob.

Thursday brings Los Dos Amigos Taco Truck, The Great Greek, The Rolling Stoves, and TRU Pizza Co. Friday's selection includes Busta Dawgs, Island Noodles, and The Great Greek.

Other vendors featured in the coming weeks include Mr. Creole, Nu Deli, Old Shillelagh, Rollin Stone Wood Fire Pizza, and Tacobachis. This program will also run during special events like the Detroit Grand Prix.
