The Detroit Auto Show and Detroit Grand Prix will partner for Racing Day on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at Huntington Place. Race cars, drivers, and hands-on activities await fans.

Racing Day brings photo ops, winner's circle stations, autograph sessions, and Q&A panels. The indoor track pays homage to landmarks from the actual Grand Prix street circuit.

Production vehicle ride-alongs with drivers will happen on the indoor course. Fans will glimpse race cars and artifacts from the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship that compete during the Grand Prix.

Last year's Racing Day showcased on-stage talks, ride-along thrills and autograph sessions.

The 2026 version adds more programming and panel discussions. Organizers haven't announced the full schedule yet, nor the complete driver roster for the day.

The partnership between the auto show and Grand Prix brings Racing Day back to the annual exhibition, placing motorsports at center stage during this one-day gathering.

The Detroit Auto Show runs from Jan. 17-25 at Huntington Place. Tickets are on sale now at detroitautoshow.com.
