Eastern Market will host five holiday markets this shopping season beginning with a Thanksgiving food market on Tuesday, Nov. 25. According to wxyz, markets will run through Dec. 21 and showcase Michigan-made gifts plus vendors from the region.

The first market on Nov. 25 opens at 9 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. Food vendors will be there for Thanksgiving shopping. Four Sunday markets follow on Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14, and Dec. 21. Each runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday markets will showcase Michigan-made gift options like handcrafted items, artisan goods, and unique finds for the holidays. These markets come as an addition to the Saturday markets, which operate year-round at the Detroit venue.

Christmas tree vendors will set up in parking lots outside of Sheds 5 and 6 every day beginning around Thanksgiving, continuing throughout the season.
