Spirit Christmas Opens Two Michigan Locations in Grand Rapids and Novi

Spirit Halloween launched two Spirit Christmas shops in Michigan. Grand Rapids got one. Novi got the other. These pop-up stores opened in early November after Spirit Halloween closed its doors statewide on Nov. 3, as per WKFR.

The shops mark a big step for the brand. In 2024, the company ran a test on the East Coast only. This year, they brought the idea to the Midwest for the first time.

Grand Rapids' shop sits inside what used to be a JoAnn's Fabrics at 3665 28th St SE. The Novi store is next to Kohl's at 43570 W Oaks Drive.

Both run seven days a week. Monday through Saturday, they're open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

These shops sell outdoor decorations. Front yard inflatables take up most of the space. They opened just days after Spirit Halloween shut down across Michigan when the spooky season ended.

West Michigan got its first Spirit Christmas shop in Grand Rapids. Novi received the second one as part of the Midwest push.

Bronner's in Frankenmuth already sells Christmas items all year long. Spirit Christmas will work like Spirit Halloween—seasonal pop-ups that come and go.

Nobody knows when these stores will close. The company hasn't said. Spirit Halloween shows up in late summer and disappears in early November.

The 2024 test run stayed on the East Coast. No Midwest shops opened during that first try.
