Libraries throughout Macomb County are brewing up spooky activities until Oct. 31, 2025. From ghost investigations to costume celebrations, each branch offers its own twist on Halloween fun.
At Clinton-Macomb Public Library's Main Branch, ghost investigator Nicole Beauchamp will show teens her mysterious collection Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. The branch turns wild on Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m. with Monsters and Mayhem, mixing crafts with spooky tales.
Kids can shriek with delight at Mount Clemens Public Library's Scary Storytime, starting Oct. 25 at 10:30 a.m. A Halloween bash follows at 11:30 a.m. - but spots are limited, so sign up fast.
Warren Burnette Branch has cooked up bat-themed fun for young ones aged 3-9. On Oct. 25 at 2 p.m., kids will sing, craft, and listen to tales about these night flyers. From Oct. 27-31, the branch welcomes drop-in visitors for Halloween crafting and treats.
MacDonald Public Library transforms its Community Room into a trick-or-treat spot on Washington Street. Stop by Oct. 24, 6-8 p.m., while regular activities keep running as planned.
Teens can get weird at Fraser Public Library's Craft Night on Oct. 28. From 6-7:30 p.m., they'll make creepy fake creatures. The next night brings the Boo Bash, where kids mix up green slime and build stuffed monsters.
Little ones in costumes can start Halloween morning right at Roseville Public Library. Their special storytime kicks off at 10 a.m., with trick-or-treating after the tales end.
