At Dearborn's Glass Academy, skilled artisans are firing up their furnaces for the 17th Annual Glass Pumpkin Fest. The show transforms their 14,000-square-foot workshop into a dazzling display of handcrafted glass art.

Mark your calendars for two October weekends: the 4th-5th and 11th-12th. From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., visitors can step into this creative hub at 25331 Trowbridge Street. Street parking makes access simple.

The 2025 festival introduces "Sugar Plum," a striking purple creation available only during this event. Each sale of these signature pieces sends funds straight to Farmworker Justice, making art that matters.

Artists Chris Nordin and Michelle Plucinsky built this space where craft meets education. Their studio buzzes with activity throughout the year, teaching new skills and crafting seasonal art.

Inside the Michigan Room, a fresh addition to the building, guests mix and mingle. Sip coffee or cocktails while watching molten glass take shape before your eyes.

Glass pumpkins cost $34 and up. Can't find exactly what you want? The artists take special requests right on site.
