Starting October 26, 2025, visitors can step into the mind of a genius at The Henry Ford Museum. The new da Vinci show brings 65 full-size machines and 20 art pieces to life. Master builders turned the artist's paper sketches into working models that fill the halls.
These exact copies show off da Vinci's wild ideas. Watch as flying machines stretch their wings next to war devices that changed battle forever. Musicians can test working versions of instruments that sprang from da Vinci's mind. The show proves how his innovations shaped the way we make things today.
Art fills the walls too. See perfect copies of the mysterious Mona Lisa smile and the holy scene of The Last Supper. Giant pictures break down the math behind the golden ratio and show why the Vitruvian Man still matters now.
Every piece starts with da Vinci's own words. Builders read his private notebooks word by word to get each detail right. These old plans show how one man's ideas from hundreds of years ago still change how we build and think.
Museum members get first look on October 24-25. After that, anyone with a regular ticket can see the show.
Want to see it all for a special discount? Buy a Main Attractions ticket online between October 28 and November 30. For $50, you'll get into the museum, Greenfield Village, and watch cars being made at the Rouge Factory with this package.
A team from Imagine put this show together. They make big displays for places where people learn about science, animals, and plants all over the world.
The Henry Ford sits in Dearborn, Michigan. It runs the Museum of American Innovation, Greenfield Village, Rouge Factory Tour, Benson Ford Research Center and teaches kids at Henry Ford Academy.
